Frequently Asked Questions
What is Lyefl?
Lyefl is a quiet place for writers, readers, and storytellers. Write a story or a journal page, organize connected writing into a series, read books, and keep passages with private notes. You can begin with ordinary words about an ordinary day. A photograph is optional, and there are no AI writing tools.
How do I write an entry?
Start with a title and the writing canvas. Add a photograph if it belongs in the story. Select words to format them, use paragraph styles, and keep private margin notes for ideas to revisit. Preview the entry before posting and choose who can read it. Reader presentation and paper settings can change how a page is displayed without changing your words.
Can I keep pages I want to come back to?
Yes. The Library is where the works you keep are gathered — your own pages and anyone else's you are following — and you can put up to three shelves in it to sort what you return to.
Do I have to post every day?
No. There is no streak here and nothing to lose by putting the camera down. Your pages keep a quiet stretch the way paper does — as a fact, at its true length.
Is Lyefl free to use?
Yes, Lyefl is completely free for all users.
