What is Lyefl?
Lyefl is somewhere to write your life down, a day at a time. An entry is one dated page: what happened, and what you made of it. It is built to be slow on purpose — there is no feed and nothing to keep up with, so a page can take as long as the day deserves. You do not have to call yourself a writer, or own a camera, to have a life worth keeping a record of.
How do I write an entry?
Add a photograph and write next to it. There is no markup to learn — select the words and say what you mean about them, and bold is bold while you are still looking at it. The composer is the page itself, so publishing changes nothing about how the entry looks; it only changes who can open it.
Can I keep pages I want to come back to?
Yes. The Library is where the works you keep are gathered — your own pages and anyone else's you are following — and you can put up to three shelves in it to sort what you return to.
Do I have to post every day?
No. There is no streak here and nothing to lose by putting the camera down. Your pages keep a quiet stretch the way paper does — as a fact, at its true length.
Is Lyefl free to use?
